The International Year of Astronomy (IYA2009) is a global celebration of astronomy and its contributions to society and culture, highlighted by the 400th anniversary of the first use of an astronomical telescope by Galileo Galilee.  

Overview 

Science helps to unfold mysteries of the natural world. Therefore learning science should have been the most interesting and entertaining to student and the general public. But unfortunately “it’s not our field” feeling science has become repulsive factor amongst the majority.

We are happy to bring to your kind notice that we are organizing the 5th Inter School Young Scientist's Fair on Mansir 18-19 (December 3-4) at Nepal Academy Exhibition Center, Kamaladi, Kathmandu. As 2009 is being celebrated through the world as International Year of Astronomy (IYA2009), we are observing same and in honor of Galileo Galilee’s contributions.

तपाइँको गहनतम सहभागिता

अन्तराष्ट्रिय खगोल बर्ष २००९, खगोल बिज्ञानको एक अन्तराष्ट्रिय उत्सब । ग्यालिलियो ग्यालिलिद्वारा निर्मित खगोलिय टेलिस्कोप पहिलो प्रयोगको ४०० औं बर्षगाँठ । बास्तवमै ग्यालिलियोको अत्भुत खगोलिय दुरबिन आबिष्कारले संसारभर नै बैज्ञानिक क्रान्तिको शुरुवात गरको थियो । बैज्ञानिक क्रान्तिमा ग्यालिलियोको यो उच्च योगदानको कदर गर्दै नेपालमा पनि अन्तराष्ट्रिय खगोल बर्ष २००९ लाई एक उत्सबका रुपमा मनाइदैछ ।

यसै अवसरमा यूरेका हाई स्कुलको आयोजनामा यहि मंसिर १८ र १९ गते (डिसेम्बर ३ र ४ ) का दिन “ Inter School Young Scientist’s Fair ”को आयोजना हुदैछ ।
